Situated in Columbia, Maryland, Kahler Hall is only 25 minutes from
Baltimore and 45 minutes from Washington, D. C. It's the seat of
village governance, a center for community events, a place to learn, grow
and have fun. Kahler Hall is a warm and friendly place to
make new friends and learn new things. It's also a great place to
hold meetings, parties and special life events. The facility is
handicapped accessible.
Kahler Hall offers five rooms for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, anniversaries,
birthday parties and other events. There is a fully equipped caterer's
kitchen. The room options include:

Lobby - Our lobby has been completely renovated to include a
gas fireplace and is a perfect area to host a cocktail hour for your
special event.
- The Ruth Keeton Ballroom - This room can be anything you make
it: elegant with candles, flowers and fine linen; down-home for a
country dance; fun and flashy for a special party. The hardwood
floor is great for dancing. The room holds 220 seated at tables
with a dance floor or 350 seated theater style.
- The Marchand Room - Just right for meetings, conferences, luncheons
or small parties. This light-filled room holds up to 35 people.
- The Community Room - This "fun" room is on the lower level and
has a tile floor and a food preparation area off of the main room.
Casual and cheerful, this room holds up to 100 seated with room for
dancing.
- The Arts-n-Crafts Room- This is a terrific room for teaching
a class, giving a hands-on demonstration, or for an informal party
for up to 35 people.
- The Longfellow and Swansfield Neighborhood Centers are also
available for meetings and are perfect for a child's birthday party.
All of our facilities have ample free parking, are convenient to both
Baltimore and Washington and we have an experienced staff to assist you.
